Bound By Theatre is a genre resisting, multidisciplinary theatre company founded in 2019. Bound By Theatre produces published and original work. With roots in laboratory theatre, we explore the moments when the body must express what words cannot. Bound By Theatre seeks to examine the topics and questions that might cause one to bristle, or from which we want to turn away. Through a mix of language - physical and verbal, old and new - we hope to create an environment that encourages the audience to ask - and possibly answer - questions from which they would otherwise steer clear, and leave the performance space with a deeper, multi-faceted take on the subject presented.
